We're way way off topic here. I would've sent this direct to the
original poster but his/her address isn't in this copy and I didn't get
the original 'cos for some reason I'm not getting all ilug mails at the
moment.
To answer the original question: Use netswitcher
(www.netswitcher.com). It's wonderful for Windows laptops. In fact
it's wonderful even for Win machines that don't roam. Brings all the
net config stuff, and lots of other location related stuff (printers,
proxies, sharing, time zone, smtp, pop), together in one place and
doesn't rebuild the driver database or demand the Win cdrom when
you change things.
While I'm on the subject (and gently bringing this thread back on
topic) does anyone know of anything similar for Linux? i.e.
something that will allow me to save and reload complete network
configurations?
