Hi
I use a 20G IDE hdb (single partition) for storage and wish to replace it
with an 80G IDE maxtor. Is there any bios/linux limitation on size that I
should be aware of or is it likely to plug in and work? Mandrake 7.2.
Any other drive recommendations (cheap but effective)?
Second simple Qn
All the old IDE drives gathered over the years. Can they be plugged on to
one PC, say with an extra IDE card, and work under linux (ie more than 4
drives) assuming adequate PSU?
