Hello, please make a distinction between opendivx and divX ;-)
They are NOT the same. The current divX ;-) (not open) is based on
microsoft's codecs and available as DLLs to be used with aviplay
(http://divx.euro.ru).
OpenDivX is the second generation initiated by projectmayo but actually far
from the performances of divX ;-)
If you want a third possibility (slower though), you can also check this one
out which is again another project :
