i never said they had different speed the first guy did
but they can with no problem over full rate ADSL which will give them a
higer speed
the max for normal ADSL is 1.5mbps but full rate can get 10mbps which is
what im GUESSING eircom is offering
id say the public service will be slower,at jsut standard ASDL. allot of
people say cant and wont when it come to this in ireland but ive spent allot
of time looking at teh way cable and DSL is run in the eu and usa.believe me
on DSL you can get from .5mbps to 50mbps
i cant provide inks if anybody is interested

the date thing i though the same when i heard it but i rang esat and thats
what i was told march 1st
maybe eircom is holding off to see how esat does
