Never did it. AFAIK it is supported with I4L but you need a supporting ISP -
I don't know if any of the call by call ISPs. It's in the docs but as you've
noticed :-) some of them are in German only.

P.S. Why aren't you just using you "more bandwidth per head than NASA"
connection for those big downloads ?
