Now that is impressive. There was a time when if you mentioned linux, they
ran the other direction.
Does it work though?

Subject: [ILUG] New Laser Printer!
At the risk of being completely off-topic, I got a new Laser printer today!
The
wife showed me an add in the Argos catalogue for a Samsung ML-4500. In the
description it listed drivers provided for Windows95/98/2000 WindowsNT and
Linux! It took a bit of talking to get her to buy it. The CD comes with a
script
for installing the drivers on Linux. Way Kewl! Linux must be going somewhere
when Argos is advertising drivers for their products! The box even had a
cute
penguin on it.
I just hope it works with my Progeny system. The driver seems to be tailored
to
RedHat (Of course).
This sure beats the hell out of last year when I bought a printer only to
find
out it wouldn't work in Linux at all and had to trade a 1200dpi Lexmark for
a
300dpi Canon :(
Cheers,
