i have a db table that i want to share across multiple machines.
after ignoring advice from one person, i finally copped on while talking
with kenn. so i'm wondering if anyone here has used a distributed lock
manager on linux. apparently stephen tweedie was working on one for
clustering, but i'm wondering about how it (or other solutions) perform
in the real world(tm).
anyone?
thanks,
kevin
ps paul, i was wrong. it might not be *the* solution, but a lock manager
is definitely in the running as a solution. please try to at least
make the abuse entertaining... :)
