I've actually asked SNL for over a year now about ISDN : I ring them once
every couple of months and query whether they're going to make it
available on ISDN. They always answer 'Dunno' or 'Possibly in a few months'.

So, I run SNL over a conventional modem, analog line, leaving the ISDN
free for high-volume downloads, gaming, or use during the day when it's far
cheaper than SNL.

Nah, any large downloads tend to get put onto ISDN or I just wget them on
the Linux box overnight (it's crontabbed to shut off at 07:00). On a good
weekend with 'wget -c -t0' you can grab a 600MB ISO.
