RH 6.2 box, running kernel 2.2.17.
The machine has one NIC - eth0. eth0 is 22.214.171.124.
It also has one aliased interface, eth0:0 using 126.96.36.199.
The box no longer needs 188.8.131.52 so I've changed the bootup
scripts to only configure one interface, eth0, with 184.108.40.206 on
The problem is that the machine is live now and I don't want to reboot
it. If I 'ifconfig eth0 down' to shutdown the 220.127.116.11 interface
will eth0:0 remain useable?
