Is there an easy way to remove the final line from a file (pref without
resorting to something akin to 
head -`wc -l <filename> | awk '{print $2}'` <filename>

I'd prefer if the solution were pipable 

myscriptwithoutput.sh | lastlineremover.sh > filename
