Hi there, I've written a small script (in Perl under Linux) that polls
a service and sends off warning emails if the service stops responding,
it's very simple.
However I've been asked to modify the software so it also SMSes an
administrator's Eircell mobile phone also, and I'm not sure what the
easiest way to do this would be. Writing some code to interact with
the webtext form on Eircell's website is a possibility, but if
someone else has already tackled this problem in a different, more
reliable way in the past (I'd rather not have to keep updating the
code every time Eircell change their website) I'd like to hear from
them. :)
Cheers,
D.
