[ILUG] dial-up, can't ping

[ILUG] dial-up, can't ping

Hi,

Trying to set up a spare box as a dialer and maybe firewall. But firstly I
setup the modem and ppp to connect to eircom using they're free service. I can
dial in, chatfile works, I get my local ip and remote ip but then netscape
can't connect to any site and I can't ping anything except the two local
addresses and the local and remote ip that were asigned. Anyone know what
gives? I'm guessing something in my routing or default gateway as I've been
playing (mostly breaking) with nfs/nis stuff on this box too.

Paul.
