Hi,
At the moment I'm trying to install linux (kernel 2.2) on a compaq
DeskporEN. It has an on board NIC (Intel ether express pro/100).
However, I can't see the device to configure it or install it's module
(eepro100). /proc/ioports doesn't list it, and it isn't detected as
bootup. I know it's supposed to be working because win2000 (spit) was on
it previously.
I tried varying the IRQ from the BIOS, but that didn't work.
Any idea are greatly appreciated.....
