did that - but it didnn't save it - went into linuxconf, and it wasn't
listed there?

You could do that, are you sure it's looking at the correct module ? ...
If it is, all you need to supply are the io (0x240) and the IRQ (10), the
rest isn't needed and should be OK :o)
