Now I get to be my wn mini God, and decide what yahoo.com should really
say -dns server!

Ok ... a module only stays loaded while the machine is running, if you
reboot the module isn't loaded any more ...

You'll need to add something like

alias eth0 ne
options ne io=0x240 irq=10

to your /etc/modules.conf
