Aha, we have the technology, we can rebuild him. I just finished a course on
that very subject. Its some new top secret software buzz that we will be
eventually releasing. In fact, you can even get mail on a wap phone at a
descent speed while still at a poxy 9.6KB, and yes I have experience with
wap and yes I agree its shite!
Thats what got me interested in such a device. As long as MS get no dosh I
shall get an Ipaq internally. And yes they really are COOL. You can even
play unreal tournament on the thing, and q2 apparantly. So its an Ipaq for
me so.
As long as the wife doesn't go mental as I have been spending like a mad
eejit.
I don't suppose Windozs will buy back those 10 Win98 Licences I have
floating around the gaf? - I already know the answer to this one :(

The iPAQ is very nice and you can probably get a deal on it, which would be
good as it's expensive. Also, according to Liam Bedford, who's the only
person I know with enough spare change to own such a cute toy :-) you won't
be giving MS a penny because they give WinCE to Q free for the iPAQ as part
of their attempt to buy the PDA market too.
Your chances of doing that in this country are about zip, unless you use a
mobile phone in conjunction with the iPAQ. There are no providers of
wireless internet connectivity here for such devices, unlike in the U.S.
There is a GSM module for the Handspring Visor (a PalmOS device) but it's
not yet approved in this country, and I somehow doubt that anyone will
bother doing so - too small a market.

Niall
