I have 32MB on my phone, and that is enough to store a complete album
(just about!) at 96kbps. Even that is good enough quality for walking
around town or on the DART. I'm gonna try a few rips at 64kbps for
the fun of it - for the bigger albums.
Trying to go back on topic - does anyone know of any down-samplers
available for Linux? I'd rather not re-rip all of my CDs, and there
are some files I've Gnutella'd that can't (for obvious reasons) be re-
ripped.
/jer - normally a perfectionist audiophile, but forced to become
realistically open-minded with the advent of low-memory mobile
phone / MP3 players...
