 Did you move the case? Maybe a jumper fell off the Clock multiplier to set
it back to default multiple factor of '2' instead of '3.5' ?

Just a thought! I only have one per day..  :(

Sounds like a BIOS issue, try resetting defaults, save and exit, then go
back in after a reboot and set the baby up. My brother in law has one
and
its a jumperless mobo with options to change speed in the bios. From
time to
time it does this. 

I doubt that you/someone moved the jumpers/switches on the mobo - or
were
the cleaners in again?

If not, then its boll****.

Anybody know why an AMD K6-266mhz which has run happily  for the last 4
years now only runs at 133mhz....
yes, i did check the heatsink & fan.
more importantly, how do i get it to run at its rated speed again?
