You did not state if you were limited to PCI rather than AGP,

If you have AGP available: If you are in Cork, buy a Geforce II MX 32mb for
100 quid from PC Superstore...A stg. purchase at the moment is a lose-lose
situation...

If you don't, try a PCI Riva TNT2 Ultra from PC Superstore for 70 quid

NOTE: I dont work/have shares in/solicitate for PC Superstore in any
way...its just that, as anyone will tell ya who has been in there, there
damn cheap!

hmmm...... a dilema:

do i get the Matrox G200 8MB RAM upgrade (~STL£30), or do i get a G450
16MB for ~STL93??

The G200 is fine for me, but cause it has 8MB (not the needed 16MB),
it means my normal desktop isn't GL accellerated, and if i want to
play bzflag or quake2 i have to start a seperate X server...

decisions decisions....
