 Ever try to install Oracle on Linux ? There is a nice Java frontend. With
Oracle 8.0.6i, the only way you could run the damn thing was get
JRE1.1.5r6 - nothing else would work. 

 I think a lot of developers and admins have lost faith in Java. It was a
nice idea, that was done badly the first twenty times. Now people are
bored, and want something else, in the hope that it'll work.
