Cheers lads, I reckon I made a booboo, I forgot to include AGP support and
its an AGP card. As I mainly use PCI ones at home, I forgot this minor
kernel bit.
I'm off to recompile - again - and heres hoping ...

be handy to know what kind of graphics you have?
(eg some graphics chips need a kernel driver, i810.)
