does anyone know how to play Quicktime movies in Linux? (short of
running WINE+Quicktime player for windows)
google just threw a bunch of info about programming/creating/streaming
quicktime files.
are there even any nasty hacks like using windows .dlls
its ridiculous that i can get DivX;) but not quality (but proprietary)
format like Quicktime.

the above from the Xanim docs does not really tell what kind of support
it actually has for Quicktime, all vidoe files have video and audio
tracks! so i expect he means that without the soreson codec it can do
nothing, probably just really old quicktime files.
I thought since OS X has arrived there might be slightly better *nix
support by now.
Any ideas?
