ok, this is pissing me off. i can't build kernel 2.2.19 - it's from
the redhat source rpm (kernel-source-2.2.19-6.2.7). yes, i could go
download the kernel from kernel.org, but the last time i built that it
failed too. so, any ideas on what's happening here - the compiler isn't
even generating a sensible error:
