[ILUG] Newbie Help: Setting up a dialup to the Internet

Hi All,

I hope someone can help me, I've attempted to setup an internet connection on 2 distros: SuSe 7.1 & Mandrake 8.0 with the same results.
Using KInternet or Kppp to IOL or Oceanfree returns exit code 15, dialling to my work LAN gives exit code 10, the difference between the two being as follows:
ISP: Connects and kicks me out at "Logging on to Network" stage, dialling into work connects & allows me to ping internal systems (by name & ip) for a few moments (not enough to load the intranet page) and then stops responding to ping requests.
In work I use Portmaster RAS box with RADIUS authenication & MS DNS servers.

My guess is that I need to run a script to connect to an ISP - anyone know how?
I'm not too concerned about connecting to work but it would be nice.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Eric O'Callaghan
