i've just succesfully flashed new firmware onto my CDRW using wine
and the Yamaha win32 firmware loading programme...
also installed Microsoft DCOM95 to my C: drive^W^W^W/var/tmp/windows.
MS Internet Explorer 5 however does not install, and NT4.0 SP4
decompresses itself, but then complains that i'm missing some files.
ah well....
Adobe Acrobat works perfectly though!
knew i'd find a use one day for all those junk CDs that computer
shopper has on their cover every month.
regards,
