I get the feeling this should be a FAQ.. Seems to be a lot of confusion
caused by the "firewall" settings in RH7.1 :|

What's more than likely happening is you set the firewall setting too
high. I have RH7.1 running at home but never took the trouble to fiddle
with their firewall levels as it's not connected directly to the
Internet.. It might be something in linuxconf, or try run
/usr/sbin/setup too.
