Folks -
You may have noticed that emails to/from the ILUG lists, as well as
accesses to the web site, are unusually slow today. A little digging
reveals that an unusally high packet loss was occurring on the link
from lugh (the ILUG machine) to its router within Indigo.
Indigo have investigated this problem; it's caused by the successful
launch of http://www.gaa.ie/, with which lugh shares a 10Mb/s link.
I'm told that this link will be upgraded to 100Mb/s soon, and we
should be back to normal then.
In the meantime, try to be a little frugal in terms of ILUG mails etc.
Thanks,
Colm
