sorry, i didn't check the exact date of release.  it was certainly newer
then the last time i checked around three weeks ago.

as far as greater memory usage goes, i dunno.  it works fine on my laptop
though it has 128megs of ram.  keeping in mind that both mozilla and
galeon are multithreaded as far as i know, remember that a fair bit of
the memory usage top reports is shared among threads.

also, they both make use of xml, and i'm not sure libxml is particularly
efficient memory-wise (at least in terms of the easiest way to use it).
