[ILUG] Drunken mouse in X

[ILUG] Drunken mouse in X

hows it going,

I had the same problem with slackware 7.1
I eventually gave up and reinstalled Redhat
6.2 again.

The best place to get help would probably
be on one of the slackware mailing lists.
Not alot of people on the list seem to use
slackware....

hth,
Shane

Subject: [ILUG] Drunken mouse in X

| Hey guys.
|
| I've just set up a lovely new Slackware 8 box, and I have to say it's
| performs beautifully. Thing is, my mouse freaks out in X.
| I've tried killing gpm and setting XF86Config to use ps2, and I've tried to
| keep it running and set XF86 to use gpmdata. Both gives the same behaviour,
| though. The mouse works fine in the console, but flies around like a
| kamikaze pilot on drugs when I fire up X.
|
| Anyone heard about this before?
|
|
| I remain at your disposition,
| Marius Li
