i don't have a windows or mac box.  has anyone used adobe's ebook s/w?
i get the impression from their statement that it can block text to
speech conversions.  and supposedly the russian s/w can allow text to
speech s/w to work again.  if anyone can answer that for sure could you
email cool at lwn.net describing it?  it would be easier for disabled people
to get adobe (or rather the us gov't in turning over the dmca which seems
to affect more then just us residents) to allow their fair use rights
rather then have to lobby every publisher that disables text to speech.
