[ILUG] smbfs kernel module

[ILUG] smbfs kernel module

Hi all,

Having R'd The FM for many frustrating hours to no avail, I eventually gave
in and decided to ask here: Samba 2.2.1a, when compiled does not seem to
produce either an smbmount executable or an smbfs.o kernel module. As you
can imagine this causes problems trying to remote mount a smb filesystem.

The reason I am using this version is to avoid problems the earlier versions
seem to have with Windows 2000.

Has anyone come across this? Would appreciate a pointer.

Regards,

Ruairi
