[ILUG] Slowness/Resource starvation problem.

Howdy,

I've a strange problem with a machine, trying to telnet to the localhost or any
service which goes through inetd takes a really long time (if ever) to return a
prompt (pop/imap/telnet), this happens 8/10 times or so...

Any ideas?
