[ILUG] DHCP + email

[ILUG] DHCP + email

Hey yall,

My network stuff is configured by DHCP, (I should point out that i know
nothing much about networking + email) except for my email. A colleague told
me that, in Linux, I will be able to send mail but not receive it. Is this
true? The company has a microsoft exchange mail server. I don't know if it's
POP or IMAP. If it is possible to receive mail, how do i do it? Do i have to
create a Linux user account with the same name and password as my M$ network
account? Sorry if the question is a bit vague.

James
