Hi,
Relative newbie, but trying to move away from Windows as completely as
possible.
I'm running Mandrake 8.0 on my laptop, but am forced to use Windows when I
plug in at work because of the NT network there. I figure it should be
straightfoward enough to set up Samba to allow to keep using linux, but all
of the documentation I can find is about setting up Windows clients to samba
servers, rather than the other way round.
Assuming I can get my sysadmin's go ahead (and he's usually open minded
about things, he's experimented before), how do I go about setting up myself
as a client on an NT network?
Thanks,
Marek.
