Hi James!

I have had some experience with SAMBA (those of you that helped me through
it, I am very thankful!). I have a couple of thoughts regarding the
posting with connection probs to NT shares:

1 - Using RedHat - Installing both SAMBA Common and SAMBA Tools RPM's
should give you the ability to access the NT shares via the command line.
You might get error messages stating that the smb.conf is missing or bad
options, I have found that this does not cause any probs for me.

2 - Using SuSe - Installing the SAMBA Client RPM will give you the ability
to access the NT Shares via the command line. Again you might get errors
stating missing smb.conf.

I hope this is of use and if you need any help with the command line
options, let me know! By the way if you are using RedHat, there is a update
available for SAMBA RPM's.
