I've got my fetchmail retreiving pop3 mail from my local mailserver on
the lan, and I'm finding my way around mutt, which i like a lot.
My sendmail logs show my mails being 'transported' for incoming, but all
my outgoing stuff is failing due to a dns failure.
I've tried putting my local mailserver as the fallback MX host, but same
problem
Is there some easy way to point / route my outgoing smtp stuff to my
mailserver, (still win98 Mdameon) as a host, rather than trying to send
it directly ?
I'm writing this in netscape, which I can point to the mailserver, but
how can I get sendmail to do the same thing, or can I bypass it and
point mutt directly to a non-local mta ?
Thanks,
Declan
