The dialog between Nick and Ruari is one of the curses of 'free' bandwidth.
It costs individuals essentially nothing (except time and energy better
spent on constructive activities) to hurl invective. Admittedly, some of
it is clever, and some pointedly correct, but the rest of us still have to
take the time to sample and discard, which is a real expense.
A suggestion to reduce clutter: Before posting to the list, ask yourself,
'Would I say this if it cost me 10 pounds?'
