Thanks again. I've added it to the listings.

I notice that Sitescooper works well with David A. Desrosiers's Plucker,
among other features. And that there are a whole pile of other, similar
open-source tools one might use in preference to AvantGo:

o gPalmDoc is an X11/GTK+ utility to convert HTML to Palm DOC.
o Palmlib is a set of PHP3 functions to do likewise.
o url2palm is a Perl script to do likewise (calls txt2pdbdoc and two
   LWP modules)

Without resorting to proprietary tools, you can program for PalmOS on
Linux using:

o  C / C++ (prctools, pilrc, POOL, PalmBazaar)
o Lisp/Scheme (LispMe)
o Caml Light (INRIA's compiler)
o Python (Pyrite, PIPPY)
o Java (Jump, Waba, SuperWaba, wabadma, WabaJump, DynaWorks)
o Assembler (Pila)
o FORTH (PilotFORTH)
o SmallTalk (PocketSmalltalk)

Open-source software development for PalmOS (led by Linux people) could
really take off. I just don't think people know what's available to
work with -- or what's already been that might be re-used.
