I think everyone missed the point of my question or I have failed to
notice features in several major software applications. I am well aware
of smbclients -M feature and I'm well aware of programs like linpopup.
However, AFAIK, none of these applications allow you to send and receive
*workgroup broadcast* messages, messages to/from the entire workgroup.
I would be more than happy to be corrected on this point:)
