another good one. 8.11.2 has the new 'feature' that for
smart-host/mail_hub it now does an MX lookup on the name you supply,
rather than A. good idea, but i didn't find it documented and had
a weeks worth of mail backed up on a nullclient host.. grrr.
debugging was also fun as the error was "can't resolve hostname".
