how looking into autocmd. not sure of the exact syntax, but i bet you
could do something like this in your .exrc:
au BufNewFile,BufRead pattern.that.shows.mh.files viminfo=
and you could be less draconian then viminfo= , but i dunno the different
viminfo codes for it's config string.
in addition you might be able to configure vim to enter mail editting
mode when it opens an mh file as well (assuming it doesn't already).
mh is a great mailer. in addition to correctly formatting pgp messages,
it supports X-Face and can run in either a cli or in a gui. i used it
for several years, but mutt is a bit closer to my style of reading mail.
