Hi,
My floppy disk seems only to mount in read-only mode. So I can never copy a
file from my PC (RH6.2) to it, only the other way around.
When I type :
mount /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy
it tells me that /dev/fd0 is being mounted in read-only mode. I have check
permissions on the /dev/fd0 file and the /mnt/floppy directory and they are
fine, I have tried this as root, and the floppy disk is perfect. I thought
that perhaps it was because the floppy was originally formatted on a windows
PC, so I have tried different floppies formatted on a Linux PC but to no
avail. This is starting to get a bit annoying so any help is appreciated ...
Thanks,
Richard.
