yes i've installed debian.  i've installed a number of distributions.
but i use redhat because that's what i first started using and i know
it well enough that i can nearly always get it to do what i want in
short order.

i don't like misery and i usually have a fair bit of work on my plate,
so i just tend to use the thing that "just works."  i avoid redhat 7.0
for this reason for instance.

i personally like kickstart installs if i'm doing a large number of them.
then i just need some floppies and a server.  nothing like insert floppy,
turn on machine, get a cup of tea, linux is installed.  well, except
possibly, edit bootp config files, turn on machine, get a cup of tea,
solaris is installed.
