All this will do is modify the /etc/xinetd/swat file anyway to allow
localhost access.

I always seem to have problems getting that damned thing to work as
well. The easiest way I found to do it was to download webmin
(www.rpmfind.net) install that (rpm thingie). From there you can launch
swat, one of the webby options on it. It's quite small and installs very
fast.
