I checked the paths and they looked fine but I ran a
'which scp' on both machines (as the relevant users)
and the only thing that I could see is the server
version had scp in /usr/local/bin wheras my local
machine has it installed in /usr/bin/.
I decided to use sftp instead for the moment.
