Now, this is just downright silly. Dan Quinlan, like the entire rest of
the Unix-using world, knows full well about /mnt's long history as a
container for mount-point directories: Had he intended to discourage
that, he would have clearly stated "/mnt must contain no mount-point
subdirectories". And the FHS does _not_ so state.
