Someone asked for details on how to simulate a leased line using two Nokia
baseband modems details below:


If these are Nokia 4 wire NTUs with a 6 wire RJ socket then the transmit is
on 1&2 receive on 5&6 - so just cross 1&2 with 5&6 both ways with twisted
pair wiring. The pairs are balanced so polarity does not matter.
You have to set one modem for master clocking & one for slave clocking.


If they are the older Nokia ones then strap A2 is in for slave and missing
for master. Strap A6 would often be in to set speed to 64K and would be in
both modems.
