ok, from the ftpaccess man page (as opposed to the ftpd man page that
i had been reading - but it's important, read on) i find the virtual
blah options. these are nifty. using this i can set up ftp servers by
incoming ip address.
using xinetd i limit ftp to a single aliased ftp address.
in order for ftpd to even *read* the ftpaccess file you need to give
it the -a flag. and set "timeout RFC931 0" in ftpaccess and don'y use
USERID on the log_on_success, log_on_failure options in xinetd.
kevin at suberic.net i... i have a dream. and that dream is:
fork()'ed on 37058400 use DIY::Tiler;
meatspace place: work my($t) = new DIY::Tiler;
http://suberic.net/~kevin $t->tile(-room => "en-suite", -style => "stone");
