I have a HP lj1000 (printer only) on my desk and the only complaint
I have about it it that it's slow, about 2 ppm from ghostscript
(though much better direct from Wordperfect or when a wintel PC is
printing to it through Samba). The slowness could well be something
to do with my ghostscript setup.
Otherwise it's set up as HPLJ4, and prints nice clean pages.
