Hi Everyone,
I have a quick question about squid for eveyone who deals with it.
Squid can limit the size of files downloaded which is cool. Okay now
for the nice bit. What if instead of using a fixed file size as a
limit, useres were allowed to download, say 20 megs (Of files over a
certain limit) a week. So at the start of each week Ann could download
20megs, as she downloads a file thats over a certain limit, her counter
goes up. When she exceeds the 20 megs Squid produces an error. At the
start of each week the counter is reset to zero and the process begins
again. Its a bit more flexable than just blanket baning file downloads
over a certain limit. But can it be done with Squid? Has anyone a
notion of how it would be done if in fact it could be?
Thanks in advance
Aj
